Magnus Antique Terracotta Jar

The Magnus antique jar is a large, entirely handmade terracotta jar approximately 150–200 years old. Legend says these jars were originally produced on the Greek islands and transported by boat to the waters off Çanakkale. From there, they were taken to olive oil factories and used to store olive oil. Although the interior of the jars was initially glazed, this glaze has largely worn away over the years of use.

Today, these antique jars are used for decorative purposes and are particularly preferred as striking decorative jars in hotel gardens, large villa gardens, and landscaping projects. Thanks to their large size and historical character, they create a strong visual impact in gardens and give the space a natural antique atmosphere.
